I cancelled my Wired subscription shortly after the mag was purchased by Conde Nast-- I figured that when the number of ads exceeded the number of articles by a factor of three, there was no reason I should be paying *them* to read it.
And I stopped reading their website when I discovered Slashdot. (Not sure which I dumped first, the mag or the website...)
Anyway, they recently redesigned their site to be all XHTML and CSS and whatever, so I checked it out. Am I astounded? No. Am I willing to give Wired another shot? Maybe I'll grab a copy off the newsstand and see what the post-bubble version looks like. Has Conde Nast sold it off yet?
I was reminded about their funky little animation archive, though, which is worth a visit.
