Finally Mopping Up After Hurricane Drainpipe

It's five days shy of a month since we got back from the France, and found five varieties of mold and rot growing on the wall of my studio. Seems that the drainpipe from my upstairs neighbors' sink was cracked, and was spraying the inside of the wall with greasy sludge.

By the time the wall was cut, the rustynasty pipe was cut, and everything was replaced and patched up, every surface in my studio was covered in fine black powder. It sat like that for over two weeks -- just today I decided to reclaim it.

Fine black powder wasn't all -- everything near the window is also covered in a much stickier layer of fine brown powder as well. Rust? Brown mold? Powdered sewer pipe?

Most likely all three. It doesn't come off. :-(
