Sledding on the Upper West Side
This is the steeper of two ad-hoc sledding hills in Riverside Park, north of 96th Street. Mostly ice by the time this photo was taken.
The child that was down was not actually hurt, as far as I know, but seems to have given someone (mom?) a fright. Note also the snowboarder in the center of the photo. Here's a detail:
