a memo
I'm slowly rebounding from a nasty cold (thanks, Peter, for sneezing into my eye you bioterrorist) and during my extended stay on the couch I had a few ideas about where to go next.
As you might know, Hip Hop Clown Month is history, and even though I wasn't getting paid for it, it was definitely a job. So I find myself creatively liberated, and possessed of the idea that it's time to make a fresh start on something. Or maybe several somethings.
First up, CHXO gets an overhaul. I'm a micropeneur, I actually don't want a marketing site. It's way too boring, I have much more style than it lets on, etc etc etc. Or maybe I don't, but let's face it, site is boring and static. There's actually a lot going on. So.
Next, the blogging world is starting to realize that it's not all just text-- you can journal using photos and artwork, too (even graphs and charts, right?). Berylium has brilliant image handling built in, but it needs to be streamlined and better presented. I hereby declare Fotola the project of the month-- a deluxe visiblog (visual weblog) with understated flair.
In my spare time, other psydeshow roductions sites will get upgrades and affirmations. I hope to bring Be Weird back and make it easy to log random weirdness there. Fioria's time may have come, as well, and Distribute This will ditch the negative cynical attitude (on the main channel anyway) and attempt to promote a very well-defined Progressive Pragmatist platform-- positive strategies for dealing with the everyday problems we face.
That's the drill for March. And the marching orders? In like a lamb, out like a lion, baby!
